Whether you are celebrating a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, wedding, baby naming, Brit Milah, anniversary, or observing a memorial, Temple Israel has multiple venues and services available to help make your event meaningful and memorable. In addition to several smaller spaces available for more intimate dinners, receptions, and meetings, we offer:
Fashioned of grey stone with a red-tile roof, the Sanctuary and its adjoining buildings are striking examples of modern Spanish Revival architecture. The Sanctuary boasts massive oak doors, ornate foyer, and rich woods that offset a meticulously hand painted coffered ceiling. A Star of David motif is subtly expressed in the green carpeting that continues throughout the Sanctuary. Byzantine-style chandeliers dangle from a lofty vaulted ceiling, and two tiers of gorgeous stained glass windows bathe the scene in soft, heavenly light.
Wtih midcentury styling, and sunlit during the day, the Chapel has an updated state of the art sound system, and provides a more intimate spiritual and social setting.
Lushly planted with a retractable sun canopy, the beautiful Goodman Courtyard is an ideal space year round. From Kabbalat services on Friday evenings in the summer to Sukkot cocktail parties and various receptions, the courtyard is in demand as a venue year round.
Our principal venue, Miller Hall's 5,000 square foot ballroom boasts a fully functional stage and lighting array, ornate Venetian style chandeliers, a built-in parquet dance floor, and easy access to the lobby, Chadwick Chapel, the Goodman Courtyard as well as restrooms and our fully functioning industrial kitchen.
We do provide a limited number of support items for your event, such as tables, chairs, audio visual equipment and maintain a recommendation list of high quality vendors familiar with our campus.
