Networking is about Farming, NOT Hunting
We have three experts in networking (not net-sitting) who will give you tips and methods on the 5 W's and H of networking. They will cover the WHO, the WHY, the WHAT, the WHEN, the WHERE and the HOW.
This is the perfect meeting for those who want to grow their business or practice; for those whose networking skills may be a little rusty; and for those who have never networked before. Please bring (or send) college students, high school juniors and seniors, and your friends. Networking skills are not taught in school. Learn from three networking pros.
Bios:
Les Berman learned the value of networking when he got out of school, moved to Vancouver and promptly met every one of the major players in the City. He wouldn't take no for an answer. But he didn't know that he was networking. He moved to Los Angeles and started over - networking.
David Aaronson is a member and Assistant Director of BNI the largest International networking organization with over 5800 chapters in 47 countries. He is also the communications director for the Los Angeles West BNI Region and the editor of the
BNI4Success.wordpress.com blog, where he blogs about word of mouth networking and edits postings from others within the Los Angeles West BNI region. He has been a member of TIOH for 18 years, and has been the facilitator of the Adult Shabbat morning Torah study for the past 11 years. He is a past Treasurer and board member of TIOH and currently serves on the Hillside Memorial Council of Directors where he is also the chair of the Marketing Committee. He serves LimmudLA as chair of the Nov. 7th Day of Global Jewish Learning as well as serving as Director of Marketing for Big Sunday for the last four years.
Stephen Connors began networking as soon as his business launched in 2003. “The only way to continue healthy business growth is through extending your connection to your community,” says Connors. We all know how to hunt and chase after a goal. Knowing how to farm keeps your network community healthy and thriving.”
