Reform Judaism Welcomes You!
From the Union of Reform Judaism - www.urj.org
Every couple begins with two individuals from different backgrounds. Interfaith couples and their families also face the special challenges posed by different religious traditions and sometimes cultures. For more than twenty years, Reform Judaism has made a commitment to couples with one Jewish partner to welcome them as a couple within our community, to embrace them and their children, and to offer support and education for their extended families. Each interfaith love story is unique, but many of them share common themes and concerns.

Periodically, Temple Israel has interfaith programming, such as chats with the Rabbi, and workshop series introducing you to Judaism. In addition, two of our congregants put together a Holiday Guide called "Celebrations." This guide was developed to help nursery school parents learn and celebrate Jewish holidays with their children. Click Here to view the celebrations guide.
