Hollywood Temple Youth (HoTY)
HoTY (Hollywood Temple Youth) is the home for 7th through 12th graders at Temple Israel. Affiliated with the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY), HoTY provides opportunities for Reform Jewish youth to forge and build friendships, lifelong Jewish identities, and leadership skills through community building, social action, and experiential youth-led programming. HoTY offers a unique balance of social, educational and religious content that is planned and facilitated by teens, for teens.
In addition to the many programs and events that HoTY offers at Temple Israel, HoTY is the access point to NFTY. Members of HoTY are active participants in NFTY on both the regional and national levels interacting with Reform Jewish youth from across the country. Through HoTY and NFTY, participants have a multitude of opportunities for involvement and connection.
Some of the incredible programs HoTY provides:
· HoTY Events – such as the annual “Sleepless in Hollywood.”
· NFTY Events –connecting with Reform Jewish youth from L.A. and across the country.
· NFTY in Israel – a once in a lifetime summer travel experience through the land of Israel.
· Camping – spend a summer at a URJ Camp or the Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps .

Jr. HoTY
Jr. HoTY, aka all TIOH 4th, 5th, & 6th Graders, is about doing Jewish, getting active, and being cool!!
Jr. HoTY = Temple Israel's youth group for 4th, 5th, & 6th graders from both the Religious and Day Schools. .
Activities are awesome and focus on social action.
We bring Jr. HoTYs together to hang out and create their own Jewish community.
We do our part in making our world a better place - and have fun doing it!
Jr. HoTYs are welcome to register for one, many, or all events.
