Bubser BaronServing as VP of Education for TIOH for the past several years has deepened my commitment to insuring that anyone who desires a Jewish education can get one at TIOH. Whether one is 2 or 90 years old, there is always more to learn about the rich traditions and deep moral and ethical lessons within Judaism. My role is to insure that our wonderful rabbis and educators have the infrastructure and resources they need to provide education through our Bay Nimoy Early Childhood Center, Temple Israel Day School, Religious School and Adult Education Programs.

My family has studied at TIOH over the years in each of these programs. My son Sam, 14 and daughter Ellie, 13 started in the nursery school, graduated from the day school and now participate in the teen program. My husband, David Baron, and I both participate in a range of education opportunities from classes to lectures.

Prior to my role as VP of Education, I was Assistant Secretary. I was also Chair of the Annual GIving Campaign for the TIOH Day School for several years. Outside of TIOH, I served on the board of the Hancock Park Homeowner's Association for many years and was one of the three original appointees for the Hancock Park HPOZ, responsible for the initial implementation of the preservation plan.

I have worked in marketing and advertising in the health care arena for the past 25 years, the past nine at AbelsonTaylor, a Chicago-based communications and advertising agency.
