Corwin Library

679CorwinOur library is a central hub of our community and an educational resource to thousands. The TIOH Corwin Library houses 5,000 adult books, primarily (but not exclusively) Judaica, and an additional 10,000 children's volumes. We are the proud recipient of several historical and rare editions. Our Library features an electronic card cataloguing system and we have recently upgraded its technological capacity with numerous i-Pads that are available for use by visitors of all ages, as well as high speed wireless connection to our new fiber backbone.

The Corwin Library is open seven days per week and is the core of weekly activity here. We employ a full-time librarian during the week and an additional librarian/archivist on the weekends to serve the Saturday and Sunday Religious school community. Each of the 600+ children in our three schools (including Nursery School) attend library hours, have research projects, take formal library class or are tutored in the Library. The Library curriculum is integral to, and coordinated with, the three schools' overall educational curricula structures. For adults, our Friday and Saturday morning Torah study is held in our Library, as are many other adult learning programs, and our entire community has access to the resources and lending programs of the Library.
