Sponsored by the Sisterhood, the AIDS Lunch Project provides a monthly lunch to 100 men, women and children who receive medical care at the Los Angeles County/U.S.C. Medical Center AIDS Outpatient Clinic. Our volunteers prepare lunches in the Temple kitchen and travel to the AIDS Clinic to serve the food and offer companionship. Some men and women volunteer to prepare sandwich fillings at night prior to the lunches. Our special project this year will be to gather new art supplies for use in the Pediatric AIDS Clinic waiting room. Watch for our AIDS Education Event in late winter or early spring.
