Rabbi John Rosove just returned with 17 Temple Israel leaders from an 8 day intensive Mission to Israel and meetings with leading security experts including the architect and chief builder of the Separation Fence and terrorism expert at the International Policy Institute for Counter-terrorism in Herzelia, journalists including Israelis from The Jerusalem Post and from Media Line and Palestinians of the Ma’an Palestinian Press Agency in Bethlehem, peace activists of Israel’s left wing, right wing settlers including the Mayor of the Gush Etzion Bloc, Members of the Knesset (Likud and Kadima parties), scholars from the Hartman Institute, leaders of Israel’s Reform Movement and our two sister synagogues in Mevasseret Zion and Ramat Hasharon, prayer with “Women of the Wall” at the Kotel, the son of the late Prime Minister, Yuval Rabin, at the new Rabin Center in Tel Aviv, and our partner TA-LA elementary school children in Tzahalah.
