Temple Israel of Hollywood is a vibrant, diverse, creative, caring, and historic congregation in the heart of Hollywood, California characterized by a strong tradition of family and community commitment. Members of our congregation represent a broad spectrum of Jewish thought and practice.
Through membership, we commit ourselves to a journey of discovery, expression of our people’s highest ethical and moral ideals through prayer, education and study, where each of us, in our own way, deepens our connection to Judaism, the community, the world and the state of Israel. Through study, music, worship, Tikkun Olam, and friendship we together discover greater Jewish meaning and provide for all our members a sense of community and camaraderie within the context and tradition of progressive Reform Judaism.
