Temple Israel of Hollywood
In our beautifully appointed synagogue located at the center of a historic urban neighborhood, the Reform congregation of Temple Israel of Hollywood welcomes families and individuals of all backgrounds. Led by a caring and visionary clergy and staff in partnership with a large and active group of lay leaders, Jews of Reform, Conservative and Orthodox upbringing, Jews by choice and individuals married to Jews come together here for a mix of traditional and innovative worship. We are also a center for a vast array of educational programs for all ages, and we provide a variety of opportunities to participate in meaningful social service projects throughout the year.

TIOH Invited to Participate in Re-Imagine!
Temple Israel of Hollywood was recently invited, along with a select group of local congregations, to participate in the Re-Imagine Project. Re-Imagine is a highly acclaimed program developed by Hebrew Union College and sponsored by the Los Angeles Jewish Federation and Bureau of Jewish Education that challenges religious schools to themselves and re-imagine their approach to Jewish Our Leadership Team held several meetings over the past few months with Re-Imagine Project educators and leaders of the other participating Los Angeles area synagogues, and recently held its first Re-Imagine Task Force Meeting. The Re-Imagine Project is a comprehensive 18-month program that will provide our community with many exciting opportunities to examine and deepen our already successful religious school program. We look forward to sharing our progress with the entire community.
